Simply select your tour and make your booking along with any extras: Cycle Hire Scotland - https://www.cyclehirescotland.co.uk/book Are E-Bikes Suitable? A question we get asked more and more! How far an Electric-assist bike will get you depends on the level of assist, type of terrain you're riding, and your weight. E-bikes have opened up a world of cycling to a wider audience. However not all types of E-bikes are suitable for all our tours. Given the daily distance and climbing on our AVID tours, E-bikes are ordinarily not suitable. However, if you have ridden for many years on a regular road bike and now simply seek a little extra assistance on some of the tougher climbs, then we won’t discourage. The type of E-bike suitable would be an Electric Road Bike with dropped handlebars such as the one in this picture. By contrast, Electric Hybrid Bikes are often heavy with weighty frames and batteries. They don’t usually fit well in our vans or on our bike racks either!   read more read less
